The story
Levi Evans grew up in East Tennessee and writes like it — every song is a true story first and a record second. Working as lil' Shadow, he has built a catalog of 61 songs across 15 releases entirely independently: no label, no manager, no outside writers. The albums All Shadows (2024) and Shadow Chronicals (2024) set the foundation — dark, bar-heavy underground rap with a horrorcore edge — and the run has never really stopped since.
The newest album, Poison Blossom, landed August 14, 2026. The next single, "Reality's a Lie," arrives Friday, November 6, 2026 — the most personal record in the catalog, pitched to Spotify's editors in the Horrorcore lane with the moods marked Energetic and Fierce. That combination is the sound in a sentence: Tennessee storytelling, delivered like it costs something.
More than the music
Levi also runs It Happened Here, a daily local news operation covering crime, courts, and breaking news in Greeneville and Johnson City, Tennessee — morning and evening video recaps, a national briefing, and The Good Stuff, a daily good-news segment. The same stories feed It Happened Here TV, his Roku channel, alongside public-domain film classics. It is the same instinct as the music: pay attention to the place you are from, and tell the truth about what happens there.
The store is the third arm of the same operation. Every design starts as original artwork built in-house — full-scene, all-over prints, many of them written like the songs: an innocent line on the front, and the payoff on the back. Thousands of original designs now live in the vault, with new pieces generated daily, and the Custom Studio lets anyone put any of them on the garment of their choice, or order a custom name tee with their own name worked into the art.
